Web Summit Lisbon 2026: Dates, Venue, Tickets and Getting There
The tech conference returns to Parque das Nações for four days. Dates, venues, ticket prices, the transport pass sold at the airport and what the week means for locals.

Web Summit 2026 takes place in Lisbon from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November, at the MEO Arena and the FIL exhibition center (Feira Internacional de Lisboa) in Parque das Nações, next to Lisboa-Oriente station. General attendee tickets were listed at €1,595 on 5 November 2026, and CP sells a 3- or 5-day transport pass for the week.
Lisbon has hosted the conference since 2016, and its deal with the government and the city runs until 2028. Details below are as of 5 November 2026, from the organizer’s site and the transport operators.
When and where is Web Summit 2026?
From 9 to 12 November 2026, according to Web Summit’s official site. The venues are the MEO Arena, the large arena by the river, and the FIL pavilions beside it, both a short walk from Oriente station on the eastern side of the city.
Oriente is a hub for the Metro red line, CP suburban and long-distance trains, and many Carris and regional buses. Parque das Nações itself is the former Expo 98 site, so expect it to be busier than usual all week, with side events in hotels, bars and offices across the city in the evenings.
How much do Web Summit tickets cost?
The organizer’s ticket page listed three types on 5 November 2026, with prices including VAT:
| Ticket (as listed on 5 November 2026) | Price incl. VAT | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| General attendee | €1,595 | Exhibition floor, talks, Night Summit and the attendee list |
| VIP | €1,950 | Evening receptions, meeting spaces, catering, VIP lounge and priority registration |
| Chairperson | €24,950 | Everything in VIP, plus a fast-track entrance and the speaker lounge |
Prices change as the event approaches, and the page marked general tickets as almost sold out. Buy from websummit.com rather than from third-party sellers.
How do I get to Web Summit by public transport?
Take the Metro red line (linha vermelha) to Oriente, the most direct route from the airport and from the center via the Saldanha or Alameda interchanges. Our guide to the Lisbon Metro covers lines and fares, and the airport guide covers the trip from arrivals.
For visitors who do not have a monthly pass, CP, the national rail company, sells a Web Summit Transport Pass:
| Pass (as of November 2026) | Price | Valid for |
|---|---|---|
| 3 days | €23.00, including a Navegante card | 72 hours from first use |
| 5 days | €31.50, including a Navegante card | 120 hours from first use |
- Where it works: unlimited trips on CP urban trains on the Sintra/Azambuja, Cascais and Sado lines, the whole Metro network, and Carris buses, trams and the Graça funicular.
- Where it does not: tourist routes and dedicated airport transport services.
- Where to buy: only in person at Lisbon Airport, next to the event’s accreditation area: 7 November from 9:30 to 22:00, 8 and 9 November from 7:30 to 21:30, and 10 November from 7:30 to 14:30.
The pass is loaded on a Navegante ocasional card for one person. Validate it at the gates or on board every time. Residents with a monthly Navegante pass do not need it.
Can I get there by train from the suburbs?
Yes. Lisboa-Oriente is a CP station as well as a Metro stop. Suburban trains on the Sintra and Azambuja lines call at Oriente, so people coming from Sintra, Amadora, Sacavém or Vila Franca de Xira can arrive without changing.
From the Cascais line, change at Cais do Sodré to the Metro green line, then to the red line at Alameda. From the south bank, the ferry to Cais do Sodré or Terreiro do Paço connects with the Metro, or you can drive over the Vasco da Gama bridge, which lands close to Parque das Nações. Long-distance trains from Porto and the Algarve also stop at Oriente.
What changes for people who live in Lisbon?
Expect fuller red-line trains at rush hour, especially between the airport, Oriente and the Saldanha and Alameda interchanges, and heavier traffic in and around Parque das Nações.
- Check metrolisboa.pt and carris.pt for any extra services or diversions announced for the week.
- If you drive to Parque das Nações, allow extra time and check parking before you go.
- If you can, travel outside the morning peak and the end of the conference day.
How long will Web Summit stay in Lisbon?
Under the agreement signed in 2018 by the government, Lisbon City Council and the organizer, the conference is due to stay in Lisbon until 2028. The deal was widely reported at the time as a public contribution of €11 million a year. What happens after 2028 had not been announced as of November 2026.

Bottom line
For attendees, the CP pass is the cheapest way around if you buy it on arrival at the airport, since it is not sold online and sales stop at 14:30 on 10 November. For residents, the week mainly means a crowded red line and busy evenings in Parque das Nações.
